07:07 pm - Rockband 3 setlist

IMHO, the ONLY thing still missing is Led Zeppelin. Other than that, this pretty much has everything I need in a well rounded set list, and including MANY songs I have been pining for.  Ketina is a happy camper, and well looking forward to the RB3 experience. I think this will be an even bigger leap than RB1 to RB2, and certainly bigger than what we had last year with RB2 to Beatles and Lego.

Complete ListCollapse )

Def Leppard
John Lennon
Tears for Fears
Elton John
Bob Marley
The Beach Boys

And the hits we've been missing:
Heart of Glass
Smoke on the Water
Just Like Heaven
Whip It
Walk of Life
China Grove
Fly Like an Eagle
Werewolves of London
Bohemian Raposody

:D :D :D

And much more. I need a new toy guitar!

(and yes, I know songs like Bohemian Raposody, Free Bird, and others have shown up in other Guitar Hero games. But I don't care).

02:32 pm - Rock Band blog dead - long live the Rock Band blog
As any of you who have been paying attention have likely realized by now, I stopped posting my "Rock Band Blog" in early September.  This co-insides (not coincidentally) with my getting a new job.  A job which gives me very little free time to post to LJ, and with the loss of my laptop I've been spending much less time on the internet once I get home after work.

But, never fear! I found an awesome, way better than mine, Rock Band blog on LJ that does a better job at keeping up than mine ever did:

And the dude who runs it is a friend of a friend who's seems quite cool, if you can deal with his screaming (you'll see).

Anyway, if you still want to keep up with DLC announcements and other info all in one place, check it out.
